about

Between 2006's "Samoloty Kamikadze" and 2010's "Wciśnij Knefel" releases from HERCKLEKOT, there was 2 unbelievable EPs. "666" and "Czeci Plac" which are now re-released onto one disc. We can't ever get enough of HERCKLEKOT's jarring and frantic electropunk sounds and are pleased as punch to round out the DTRASH100's with this reissue.

"666 EP
The official premiere of 666 is 6th of June 2006. On the album’s cover there’s a text saying “This date doesn’t mean anything, it can only make us see that the end of the world started a long time ago, but it’s a process, not a moment. The direction human has taken is self-destructive and ruining the planet we happen to inhabit. And there is no going back. The end of the world is us and we’re doing a great job”.
The album was made right after “Samoloty Kamikadze” with the same ways of making the music, crew and thematic.

CZECI PLAC EP
It was made in 2007 in rather extraordinary conditions. This time, guitars were recorded by Mody. Lyrics and rest of the material were created based on guitars. In the end a group of good friends came together, among which almost nobody had anything to do with singing before. Vocals were done by Fero, Kobra, Karbit, Adacho and Kalina with the assistance of quite a few bottles.
Another fancy thing is the silesian dialect we used for it. It’s used by people coming from Silesia- a region in souther Poland.
Subjects as usual: condition of society, catholic church oppression in Poland and the destructive nature of human.
